The Esplet system begins with a 15 tons holding capacity reception hopper.  Boxes or big bags are tipped into the hopper which has a belt width of 1800mm.

After being elevated the potaoes pass over a star cleaner to remove loose soil and then on to three 1800mm Easy-Grade screen sizing sections.
