The Evolution Separator consists of a number of shafts constructed out of deformable, multi-fluted soft rubber rollers rotating against fully adjustable polished stainless steel or rubber clod rollers.
The fluted rollers are driven by a variable speed motor (for maximum adjustment) and are available in three increasingly aggressive versions. The first option is the non-aggressive 8mm flute (suitable for salad potatoes), secondly is the semi aggressive 10mm flute and finally the very aggressive 20mm flute.
The clod rollers also have the benefit of variable speed for increased adjustment but they have the added benefit of height and gap adjustment as well as variable spring tension.
The concept of the height and gap adjustment is to increase/decrease the amount of stone and clod extraction from a crop.
Adjustment of the clod rollers is made easy by winding a screw jack assembly which allows quick and easy height and gap adjustment.
